About Ekon

Ekon was raised on an island near Ilsabard that was made up of primarily farmers. When the Garlean Empire came to their island, Ekon's father was killed trying to fight them off, and his mother has not been seen since. He ran to the ocean and saw a ship out at sea that wasn't apart of the Empire, and so he swam to it. Once aboard he realized it was a pirate ship, and the pirates kept him as a cabin boy for a long time until he became an actual part of the crew. Sailing under the pirate flag of the Bloody Executioners until Hyllfyr stepped aside due to his age. Hyllfyr wanted Ekon to take over the Bloody Executioners, but other pirates had different idea's, and tried to have Ekon kiilled. And with the news of Red's pregnancy, he made a pact with Hyllfyr to leave. Now, at a ripe old age of 34, Ekon is back on a Pirate ship.

Plot Hooks

|| Ekon sailed as a Pirate under the Bloody Executioners for many years, starting as cabin boy, he worked his way up through the crew until he was a first mate on one of Hyllfyr's main ships. When Hyllfyr decided to step away, due to old age, there was a rumor that Ekon was supposed to take over the Bloody Executioner's and he had the votes, but the one's who didn't want him in charge tried to kill him, so he made a deal with Hyllfyr, to gain his freedom from the pirate crew and return to the world with his mate Red. |||| Ekon's mate, Red is a voidsent that Ekon seems to be very fond of, and is often found by her side. Red likes to drink tea, make music, and fluster innocent bystanders. |||| Grows a poppy plant on his family's island that they refine into a delicate white powder that was crystalline in form known as Skag. Some of it is incredibly fine and some of it larger like a grain of salt. He used to use it on the pirate crew, right before a battle because it would flood you with a powerful rush of energy, and an overwhelming feeling of greatness. Can be smoked, snorted, or injected. ||

About Ekon & Red

Ekon and Red met when Ekon was buying and selling goods from an arcanist. Red had been in servitude to the acranist, and Ekon always had an eye on her, until one day when he was there to trade a few things, She had started to look worn down, skinny, and abused. He ended up having to leave her there that day, but when he returned for another trade, Red had been beaten within an inch of her life, and Ekon ended up saving her.

Skag

Skag is a drug closest related to a Heroin and cocaine mixture. Ekon developed this drug to help the pirate crew fight better during battle. When Skag is injected into a vein, it produces a surge of euphoria, or “rush.” This feeling is not as intense when it is snorted or smoked. The rush can last up to four to six hours, depending on the method used to consume the drug.
Immediate effects of Skag can also include feelings of wellbeing and relief from physical pain. Following the rush, there is a period of sedation, and drowsiness. Very addictive and very dangerous. Long term effects can kill.

Isiolia and Ekon’s story began with a melody. It started when Isiolia met Red and decided to play music together, her delicate tunes weaving through the air. Among the listeners, Ekon stood out, his attention caught by the notes that seemed to speak directly to him. From that serendipitous moment, their bond grew with surprising ease and speed, as though they were always meant to find one another.Now inseparable, they’ve become partners in adventure, chasing the thrill of discovery together. From wandering sun-dappled forests to sharing quiet nights beneath the stars, their lives are woven with moments of joy, wonder, and shared dreams. Ekon looks at Isi with a gaze so deep and warm that it feels like the world fades away. Isi, in turn, lovingly calls him her “gold lion,” a tribute to his strength and loyalty, while he calls her “Starlight,” captivated by the way she brightens even his darkest days. Together, they create a story of love, laughter, and endless adventure.
